Coast to the Coast is now in its 4^th year, and Justin Bird is officially an ‘old faithful’ on the ride!

In just under 2 weeks, on 25^th June, Justin will be cycling 70 miles from Barnet to Southend and this year his 12 year old daughter, Jocasta, looks set to be dragging him along behind her as she joins him for the second half (35 miles) of the ride!

They are supporting the charity Evolve, who last year ran a highly successful Summer camp in Ukraine and hope to do so again this year. They will also be using raised funds raised to provide a much needed renovation of play areas and equipment for a state run orphanage in Mukachevo, Ukraine.

Meanwhile, John Brennan has stepped up this year!

After John and Justin’s participation in the Coast to the Coast 2015 sponsored cycle ride, John has since  upgraded his bike and his energy levels and will be putting Justin to shame by covering 300 miles as he cycles to Le Mans, France, this year!

Set over 5 days, the 31^st Hayling Cycle Ride leaves from Portsmouth on the 10^th July 2016, and John will be cycling from St Malo to Le Mans, taking in the sights of Rennes and Laval along the way. His return journey is via Argentan and Caen, returning to Hayling on the 16^th.
